World Cleanup Day Galway: South Park Beach Cleanup

Join us in making a difference!

Date: Saturday, September 21st, 2024
Time: 11am - 12:30pm (Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration and briefing)
Location: South Park Beach by Claddagh, Galway City (Meeting at the gate down Nimmos Pier where the footpath turns to go along the water around South Park. You can see someone holding JCI Galway Sign.)

About the Event:

Let's come together as a community to clean up our beautiful South Park Beach! On World Cleanup Day, we'll be rolling up our sleeves and removing litter from the shoreline, making a positive impact on our environment.

What to Expect:

• All necessary equipment will be provided (gloves, bags, etc.).
• A friendly and enthusiastic team of volunteers.
• A chance to make a real difference in your community and connect with like-minded individuals.

How to Participate:

1. Register for the event here.
2. Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes.
3. Be ready to have fun and make a positive impact!

• This event is co-organized by Junior Chamber Galway and Galway Beach Cleaners Group.
• All ages and abilities are welcome!
• Please follow any safety instructions provided by the organizers.
• If parents want to bring their kids, please take good care of them as the organizier will not bear any responsibility if any accidents happen.
