Dr. Hui-Wen Angel Cheng (based in Blacklion Co. Cavan) is a professional consultant by day and young entrepreneur by night (Director of Scieneering Consulting Ltd and Mimiko Taiwanese and Asian Shop). Angel had her first cooking experience when she moved to Edinburgh, Scotland for her professional development in medical research at age of 22. From the first PERFECT fried egg to authentic Taiwanese cuisine, Angel transforms to a foodie (who can also cook) with attention to details and cultural awareness. Angel plays crucial role in leading Taiwan Ireland Association as the Chairman (2020-2022).

Alvard is a mum of 2 that has a love for baking for a long time she would bake for friends and family. She decided last year to take the plunge and sell her cakes to others. She set up her own business Galway Yummy Cakes. You can see her wonderful creations at
