Ten outstanding people from Galway will be awarded on the night. The finalist will have the opportunity to represent Ireland in the 2016 JCI World Congress Québec, Canada! | | | | | JOANNE O’RIORDAN Cork disability activist Joanne O'Riordan won the global Junior Chamber International Outstanding Young Person of the World Award for 2015. TOYP honours individuals under the age of 40 who have contributed greatly to local and global communities. She was selected as the winner by a panel of judges for her contribution to children, world peace and human rights. | | | | | Next Members Meeting is held at theHarbour Hotel at 8pm, Tuesday the 12th of April. Monthly Meetings happen every 2nd Tuesday of the Month and is a great way to: Network, Learn, Training, Socialize, and discover more about JCI Galway. | | | | | | Finland; 15th-19th June 2016 In 2016, JCI Ireland will give a grant of €400 per applicant to contribute towards registration fees for up to 4 eligible first timers. Bring along a friend – first 5 places are free!! | | | | | LOCAL & NATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS | | | | A team representing JCI Galway made up of Captain Ronan Walsh, Dominic Whelan and Sara Gilligan competed in the annual JCI Ireland Debating Competition on Saturday last in Cork. The event was part of this year’s Spring Conference held in the Clarion Hotel in the heart of Cork City. | | | | | | JCI Galway hosts the 2016 JCI Ireland National Convention from the 21-23 October. HQ hotel is the beautiful Radisson Hotel in the heart of Galway. The Convention theme for 2016 is:Celebrating Innovation and will feature a strong International delegation alongside National branches attending.
