Ireland is famous all over the world for its one hundred thousand welcomes (Céad Míle Fáilte) and now JCI Galway is on the hunt for Galway’s Friendliest Business. Do you know a business that makes you smile every time you use their service? If you do, don’t keep it a secret, nominate them today. We all need to support local businesses to ensure they have a future.

The Awards seek to recognise the important role played by small businesses in the continuous development and improvement of our economy and local communities. The competition aims to award businesses that go the extra mile and provide an outstanding service to their customers and their community at large. It is particularly important in this economic environment to highlight businesses that don't allow their standards to slip and continue to provide quality services.

Keith Killilea, President of JCI Galway says:  These awards were set up to recognise businesses that excel in serving the needs of the local community and play a vital role in its development.

The Friendliest Business in Galway will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Community Impact,
  • Customer Care,
  • Disability Access,
  • Digital Experience,
  • Eco-Friendliness and
  • Shop Layout and Design.

These six categories are the foundations of a business that has the customer at the center of their business. The closing date for nominations is Sunday 31st July 2016.

To nominate a business please complete the nominations fon the Galways's Friendliest Business page with the details of the business and why you think they should be crowned as Galway’s Friendliest Business for 2016.
